Before our Adventure

Hello everyone! I wanted the first post to be a little background of Logan and I to let you see where it all started. We are both excited to share our journey in Italy with you!

While attending The Culinary Institute of America, I met my best friend, Logan. We were lucky enough to have each other throughout the very vigorous programs that we were apart of. I received my degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and Logan received his in Culinary Arts of March 2017. Now, we are both working towards our Bachelor's degree in Business Management with an Italian Concentration.

I am originally from Massachusetts and Logan is from Missouri (I know, they are far apart!). We both come from culinary backgrounds that we obtained at our high schools. I attended Taunton High School where I had some of the greatest chef instructors, Erin Carerra and Sarah Gibson, that helped push me to be the person I am today. I was a ProStart student, therefore a part of the MRA. I did more than just culinary though, I was also very much a part of student council. I loved my council and the culinary department at my school and strive to make them proud. 

Logan is very much a family man; his family is one of the biggest pieces of his life that helped shape him into the man he is today. He attend Rockbridge High School where he also was apart of the culinary program. Through this program, he was able to become more confident in his culinary abilities and believed in himself to further his education at CIA. No matter what Logan does, he puts his whole self into it. He believes in the ones he loves and everything that they do.
